Probably a good move. If I was in your position, I would sleep better at night if I knew these deposits were insured.
If WaMu does go under, do we Piggs get a small cut of your savings? π
If not, how about a small contribution to the Center for Responsible Lending?

They are a non-profit, who have been railing against the mortgage industry abuses for years and lobbying the Hill for reforms. They are out-gunned, out-funded by the Banking, Mortgage industry lobby.

Do a “CDARS” search on this site and you will find a few previous threads discussing this.
