If WaMu does go under, do we Piggs get a small cut of your savings? 😉
If not, how about a small contribution to the Center for Responsible Lending?

They are a non-profit, who have been railing against the mortgage industry abuses for years and lobbying the Hill for reforms. They are out-gunned, out-funded by the Banking, Mortgage industry lobby.

Participantjennyo, have him look into CDARS accounts. You can deposit all the money in one bank and they distribute it in $99,000 increments to multiple banks so that all is insured.
Do a “CDARS” search on this site and you will find a few previous threads discussing this.

ParticipantBubblesitter: Center for Responsible Lending sounds good, but aren’t they also for bailing out FBers? Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe they are a major player in the current bailout legislation opposed by most Piggers.
