Well, it is time for me to relo. I found a rental in North County that seems adequate, however the price seems a bit cheaper than I’d expect. I have yet to call and look at it, but will do tomorrow. The property is being offered by a property management service. SDLookup shows last sale was in the late 90’s.
My question is: How can I verify that this property management company is actually responsible for the property? I.e. how do I know this (or even others I may find) aren’t a rental scam?
You can probably check them out on the Better Business Bureau. I know they do not provide a completely unbiased opinion, but it is some place to start. You can also google them and see what pops up.
