Flu-That is a big story and one to be watched. I’m wondering if that was strategic by Geithner in some way. I saw an article from foreign press a few weeks ago on how china was toying with the idea of a gold backed currency.

So the idea is you give China your gold and they give you a piece of paper? I don’t know which I’d least rather do at this point: buy U.S. treasuries or give China gold.

Did you read the article? Failing that, did you read the FIRST PARAGRAPH? You know, the part about Obama continuing a Bush policy?
Continuing a Bush policy? LOL! Bush’s ‘central front’ in the ‘War on Terror’ was Iraq. Obama is in the process of getting us out of Iraq and re-focussing our efforts on Afghanistan.
Obama is rebuking Bush’s policies.
