How about you drink a tall glass of STFU for once?
See: http://piggington.com/ot_a_flowchart_to_help_you_determine_if_you%E2%80%99re_having_a_rational
I realize this wasn’t directed at me (directly, that is), but… this is debate?
Weren’t you taught that once you resorted to name-calling, vulgarity, ad hominem, etc. in an argument that you had already lost it?
Please tell me this isn’t the best you can do.

You better be careful. One of your kind was inadvertently exposed to Mother Jones earlier in this thread and experienced a massive amount of cognitive dissonance after reading an article entirely based on facts. He hasn’t been seen since. You don’t want the same to happen to you.
Why are you Leftists so angry all of the time? Why do facts scare you so much? You and your fellow co-religionists like BigGubment always resort to ad hominem attacks when pressed for facts.
Let’s get some perspective here, shall we? According to you, the 1986 Chernobyl accident killed MILLIONS of people, right? According to the World Health Organization, however, Chernobyl actually killed 50 people as of the report date (2005) and may (emphasis here on the word “may”) kill as many as 4,000 people. I’m pretty sure that 4,000 is less than MILLIONS. I’m also pretty sure that the WHO doesn’t have a conservative or right-wing axe to grind, either. Link to report here:
http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2005/pr38/en/index.htmlHowever, the Leftists who have completely sold out on green energy are using this as a bludgeon to attack the efficacy of nuclear power. Whether its your worries about a radioactive plume engulfing the west coast, or Bob Cesca at the HuffPost bloviating about the need to eliminate nuclear energy completely in the US, its the same nonsense and it is NOT fact-based, but emotion-based. And it conveniently omits the fact that green energy is a boondoggle of immense proportions (just ask Spain) that will waste billions of dollars and not create any long-term/long-lasting jobs (again, just ask Spain, which saw its bloated, overpriced green program actually destroy jobs).
So how’s about you come up with some facts of your own? FLU and I are still waiting for BigGubment to show us those 500,000 green jobs that California created.

Leftists are angry and scared by facts? Compared to those on the right (who else would you be comparing them to)? I don’t want to start a slap fight, and I usually respect what you’re saying, Alan, but please tell me you’re kidding. Listen to those on the right and you hear constant, visceral anger. Both extremes have trouble with facts (although I’d give the right the edge for being afraid of facts). But when it comes to anger, the right wins by an enormous margin.
