Correct me if I’m wrong but the only protected categories are: Gender, Age, Ethnicity, Religion, Sexual Orientation.
I was on an interview team a few jobs ago. The only questions you were supposed to ask pertained to “Can and will they do the job.” Of course as humans the questions we really want to ask have relatively little to do with that.
Oh you can ask when someone graduated college, but not high school. It tend to date the interviewee!
