I think much of it actually doesn’t have anything to do with politics.

It’s because she has a personality that you want ignore but just can’t. She’s that self-centered girl we remember from high school who was popular, even though everyone despised her. She’s an American archetype.

I’m quite confused how “media attention and scrutiny” = “what are liberals afraid of?”

this is the type of media attention and scrutiny along the line of Michael Jackson’s passing.

Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon got about a day of media attention compared to Jackson. So are the liberals MORE AFRAID of Jackson?

obviously no. Jackson is more interesting to the media because he is weird, odd, strange, and a bit of a joke. that attracts attention and that attracts scrutiny.

I would suggest taking off those conservative talk radio colored glasses, the view tend to be clearer.
