Does anyone think she may be resigning in order to become active in the Alaskan Independence Party, to help Alaska secede from the Union?
I know it’s a long shot, but she never ceases to amaze.
I don’t see why Alaska would secede from the Union: They are one of the biggest recipients of Federal dollars, especially in terms of “set aside” money for all those massive ANCs (Alaska Native Corporations) like Chugash and NaNa Pacific that are taking down multi-billion dollar Federal contracts.
You’d have to pry that state off the Federal tit with a crowbar.

If she has no chance, is so battered and damaged and of no good to anyone, why is she getting so much attention? What is it about Sarah Palin that attracts this level of scrutiny? What are liberals afraid of?
I’m a Ron Paul cheerleader. I like my guns big and my government small.
The fact that anyone takes a small-bore populist like Palin seriously for national office is embarassing to me as a conservative and an American.

I think much of it actually doesn’t have anything to do with politics.
It’s because she has a personality that you want ignore but just can’t. She’s that self-centered girl we remember from high school who was popular, even though everyone despised her. She’s an American archetype.
