I was reading this morning about the murder/suicide in Temecula in this morning’s LA Times.

The man who did the killing owned a moving company and had financial trouble since the moving business is very slow.

How many tradgedies like this one are going to have a connection to the housing boom and bust in the coming years?

It was my impression that the son was upset that the father was dating someone other than his mother and that was why the murder/suicide occurred. Yes, it is true that the father was having financial problems, and perhaps they contributed to the divorce, but the housing market being the cause of the murder/suicide is at best incorrect.

seriously though, these people were renting the house!
I feel bad for the poor guy who ownes it, as if things weren’t bad enough with the current market conditions, how is he going to rent it or sell it now?
