Many top wage earners live very modestly below their means a la millionaire next door so I don’t see any problem with people of any means looking at MM. Other people choose CV due to schools etc. but some might also argue (and someone did) that MMHS is actually ranked very high.
I also live near Camino Santa Fe! I heard that the space where Bally’s was is going to be a Henry’s Market. I have long thought one thing that MM needs is a nice ranch market (I unhappily drive to La Jolla for Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods). Has anyone heard about this Henry’s plan?

I had not heard about a Henrys going in there, but it would be great if it did. That shopping center needs a chain or something to anchor it and bring the people in. I like the Indian to go resturant hidden behind the Subway. I am sure Ill get pounded on for saying that, but I do. Try the tandory chicken. For 7-9 bucks it is hard to beat and no one is ever in there. I dont know how they do it.

January 2, 2008 at 3:25 PM #127873SD RealtorParticipantNostra I have not heard of the Henrys plan but that would be cool. Prior to a Ballys I think it was a Ralphs wasnt it? I forgot…
Jimmy I guess I am intrigued by your post. Asking people to compare the two is odd, especially since you are familiar with the area. As AN said traffic on New Salem is always a consideration. Penridge is much quieter, (I know Summerset well) but it will continue to fall. I had a sale of a similar floor plan to Penridge that went for I think 508k this past summer, it was on Granby. So sitting tight and letting things play out is way to go for properties like this. Have your agent show you all of the Summerset activity and you will see the trendline.
