I was with a friend of mine today when we heard the news of Mexico legalizing the drugs, Marijuana, Cocaine and Heroin for personal use. He was “steamed” and he is a Mexican, I asked “Why so hot ?” He said THATS IT ! Im selling my house in Eastlake TODAY !
He then described to me the “future” of border cities like SD when other countries like Mexico legalize drugs as he see’s it, he is fearing for his kids now, he said heroin junkies will literally sell their own mothers for their next fix, and he doesnt want to be trying to sell his house when the SHTF and violent crime skyrockets…..
He then asked me… Do you think I should sell now ? I said, Sorry Dude…its already too late…Good Luck !
He grumbled and literally called the realtor he bought the place from 2 years ago right then and there.
This drug legalization will have a profound effect of SD real estate prices, I JUST witnessed it today with my friend, he would sell a hell of a lot less than he would’ve yesterday…..His neighbors will hate his listing price and him eventually too for it.
