Ok. I’m going to go out on a limb here and expose the government, banks and FB. They were ALL high as a kite smoking way too much pot and THAT’S why we’re in this mess.
Kids. Don’t smoke marijuana. It will cause you to do stupid things.
This whole real estate bubble should be an anti-drug campaign ad. π

Fair enough SD, but you’re not getting an invite to “Hot Tub Night”.
****heh heh heh *****
casca I am not a wet towel at the party. When I go play hockey or softball I sit right in the middle of all my friends while they get high…
It is the way it is and while it is something I do not do, I don’t call the police on them.

Yes I agree with you as well. It appears everyone is on it.
***username and others ****
I don’t deny that it is everywhere. While many of you can smoke and maintain control of yourselves and never do anything stronger, that is great. Good for you.
Clearly though, you have much more faith in our society then I do. Our society has already proven that there is a prevalent lack of self control. It doesn’t matter if it is drug use, overconsumption, or pornography, we are clearly a society that cannot control itself.
The housing market is an easy example. While there was plenty of graft and corruption to fuel the bubble, I have yet to be shown a single buyer who had a gun to his head. In essence every single buyer that was duped, that bought what he couldn’t afford, was essentially stupid enough to sign. Yet it was free will.
So that is fine, if you guys have all the faith in the world that everyone in society is as strongwilled as you are, is as smart as you are, and will not let themselves be ruled by a carving to get high, then so be it. You have more confidence then I do in the masses.
We have already crossed the line with many other vices so yeah why not just throw in the towel. Why draw the line at pot? Why not just have everything legalized. Someone can smoke a joint, do a line, drop some acid, have sex with a horse. It doesn’t hurt you and clearly they can handle it right? It is thier free will and thier choice correct? Maybe they are even doing it for health reasons.
I understand the arbitrary and hypocritical nature of our government and society. I don’t see it ever getting fixed. I am very much for personal liberties and freedom of choice and 20 years ago I would have been writing the exact same things you guys wrote… At some point in time things changed for me…
I guess we agree to disagree which is okay.
