It looks like your Vietnamese friend is racist, in the sense that she associates desirable traits with being “white.” I guess that when the mark is a racist immigrant (of any color), it’s easy for a “white” con to take their money. Or get free housing from them.

It looks like your Vietnamese friend is racist, in the sense that she associates desirable traits with being “white.” I guess that when the mark is a racist immigrant (of any color), it’s easy for a “white” con to take their money. Or get free housing from them.

Most immigrants associate White people as ‘American’ and every body else by their color or nationality like (Black, Chinese, Mexican…) no matter how many generations they have been here. I still refer to my boss Japanese eventhough his parents were born here. And yes, I think there is a feeling that White people and good looking people as more trust worthy. I am not saying that is correct or not.
