That’s awesome. Looks like it was sold on 12/31/1990 for $495,000
If we go back to 1990’s pricing it’s possible.
It looks like it also sold for $695 in 2000 and $1.118 in 2006. Realistically, the price should settle somewhere between those two.
It’ll be interesting to see what it sells for in the near term and how it comps out in a year or two.

August 17, 2009 at 4:16 PM #446301sdnerdParticipantPlease, that house will not sell anywhere near $500k.
People are fighting over $300K houses in Mira Mesa, throwing down cash for houses 1/2 the size of this in CV in the $700k range, etc.
My wager is this house sells for over 1 million.

Median household income in 92130 was 70k in 1990, 95k in 2000, and 135k in 2008. So, based on income growth alone, the house should be worth 950k.
(And, before anyone starts complaining that 135k income does not buy a 1m+ house – this is definitely not a median property in the zip code. Zillow places it at the 82nd percentile in Carmel Valley and the 95th percentile county-wide.)
