partisan?
So, qw, the only objection you really have is that ONE topic contains anti-Obama material? Is that supposed to be objective? Because of that, you have problems with it?
I didn’t participate in the other Vote Obama topic and it was generally pro-Obama, but I never heard it generate this amount of complaining.
Honestly, the discussion would have probably gone well if it contained more dissection of the facts as opposed to the rampant name-calling.
Again, you are not forced to read forum topics if you do not want to. Right in the title, it’s already political. I mean, people in other countries DIE for the right for this kind of discussion, and we complain.

The word “shallow” in qwerty’s post also caught my eye. With the exception of some ad hominen pisstivity, that thread was one of the best, most entertaining and informative posts that’s been here in a while.
As you pointed out, and much like TV, if you don’t like it, don’t watch. Exercise your right to not participate, but allow the rest of those who want to to do so.

July 7, 2008 at 9:23 AM #234319NotCrankyParticipantThere was a lot of good vocabulary used on the thread by the same person who brings us pissivity this morning. We found out who all the baby boomers are too.
