My mistake, the first map that opens in SDLOOKUP showed this house being at east end of Ocean Crest backing up to Ada Harris. It’s only when you google map 609 Ocean Crest that you realize the buyer will have to wear a hockey mask in the back yard to prevent being disfigured by flying hubcaps. I rented at 732 Ocean Crest and the freeway noise was deafening. West of Mackinon on Ocean Crest is almost exclusively low income duplex housing. This was a terrible buy at 406K.

Sure it’s not quite as close to I-5 due to the storage place but it is still loud and people asking closer to 500K for dumps (if you ask me anyway). I mean dumps in the sense that they haven’t bothered to polish the turd so there is more to put in. You can’t tell me Playa Riviera is worth 80K more than that area.
Now regarding this house I used the Sdlookup map and didn’t realize this was down in that area right on I-5. So I agree, crappy buy.
I would still like to see some of the PPSF figures get well under $300 like this one. Cardiff hasn’t had many sales recently (according to SDLookup) so it’s hard to say what effect it will have.
