I was watching this show on HGTV where one couple was trying to sell their home for about double the value for a little over $600k. Comps in the area were going for $589-$599.
The RE agent told the couple that they need to lower their asking price $10k to compete with the comps. The guy then states
“I just don’t want to give this home away”. I was like WTF! You are doubling your investment, you are coming down only $10k on a $600k home worth about $200k and you feel like you are giving away your home. What a jackass.
