    The article is only talking about Fannie and Freddie crashing and needing a bailout. But regardless if they become a zero, their borrowing costs are going up. This will be passed on in mortgage rates. I can’t find a link to it but I remember reading that their latest debt auction was at 9%.

    We are getting ready to start the next leg down in the housing market.

    Obama will be the new Jimmy Carter!

    And it will be the 1970’s all over again with record inflation, super sky high oil prices and bad problems with Iran again in the Middle East just like when Carter was in the office! Woo hoo! Cant wait!

    I like gold more than oil right now. Oil seems to be overdone short term; but I thought that at $100 oil.
