You should see the piggs when they talk about housing!
There is a lot more discussion of downtown on sdlookup. Lots of owners and builders are in distress, many are not. I think people are still holding to the hope that downtown will become a work/live/walk/shop mecca for the geographically centralized new era. IMO unfortunately most people can only afford the walking part.

Prices are still crazy there because sellers have not yet caved. Similarly there must still be some buyers who are forking out the money and contrary to what you or I would pay, they will pay more. Frustrating but true. I do not see downtown turning around soon. Hang in there and give it time.
