Wow. Please go back to be driven away from Piggington. Seriously. Disagreeing with Obama and his administration ipso facto means you are racist? Way to pull the race card. Go buy a house.[/quote]I get this every so often. Being a white male apparently I cant help myslef. The latest time I was called a racist for not agreeing with Obama was just after his speach this week. I was explaining to a friend (minority female) all the problems I had with what he said, and Bam! I am a closet racist who doesnt even know I am racist. I am talking $$$, and basic problems of government intervention in markets, and she pulls out that. Basically ‘No, you are wrong, and all your points are not worth addressing, because a white man cant oppose Obamas policies, cause obviously it is just his unknown, unfounded and unverified racially based hatred of the man, and not his policies, that is driving this opposition.
And before you question if that was what she actually ment here is a nearly word for word quote. “The only reason people like you oppose this is closet racism. (shocked look on my face) I am not saying you are racist, your just an idealist(ok, I am). Just that most of the people who are against him wont admit the real reasons they dont like him. They use all of these ideas to cover up their real feelings. But I know why the really do it.”Apparently there is no correct answer except to sit down, agree and shut up. Otherwise I, and anyone with opinions like me, are just racists and should be ignored.

September 12, 2009 at 2:50 PM #456457DWCAPParticipantTo the OP,
You say you were already in a underwater loan and got out. Did you short sell, or REO, or pay the difference? How did you get out from under that house?
I ask because you may have a limit imposed on you on when you can get a new home loan. And your credit may be messed up enough it wont matter anyways.

People who pull out the race card to justify their position are the real racists. True logic and reasoning has no color.
