Sorry the ad was called “SUZANNE”

My wife has been a champ, she was very glad we’ve been waiting out the downturn.

February 15, 2009 at 4:28 PM #346792NewtoSanDiegoGuestHa Ha….that was a great ad. That poor guy was being tag teamed by his wife and the Realtor. You certainly don’t see that type of ad anymore. It was actually a bit disturbing on a couple levels. Plus the fictional characters, if they were real would probably in foreclosure now.
I’m in similar situation, looking now actively. The big difference now and 2005. Back then you would probably only a sh*thole of a house in San Diego for 3/4 million, now the pickings are getting very nice.

I thought the “Suzanne” commercial was disturbing on a lot of levels. I hope it’s preserved for posterity as a reflection of the sad state of this country at the peak of the ass-hat bubble.

December 10, 2010 at 4:41 AM #638061BubblesitterParticipantResurrecting an old thread. My level of risk aversion is again reaching relatively high level. The Europe sovereign debt problem that is likely expanding has me a bit spooked. The Chinese property market is in serious bubble territory. Endless large deficits for years as partisan deadlocked congress won’t address near term or long term structural reform
Stocks been reaching good levels recently, perhaps time for another big pullback?
