I think anything should go, except no personal attacks on each respective's families /relatives (kids, parents, etc) and no violence.
In my twisted sort of logic…I have a suspicion that if both of them can survive one night without killing each other, there is a high probability that the two will end up talking to each other, possibly even friends, or friends with privileges. And both seem to have pretty thick skins to not take it personally afterwards.
Anyway, the way I look at it, Dave and Marion (and I mean this with the great sincerity of respect for both of you) , both of you have nothing to lose. Both of you are convinced you'll never ever in a million years get along in real life anyway, so the two of you can't possibly sink to any new lows.
The community would fund any financial obligations along with a blogger for this event, the two of you just have to show up (provided the community has enough interest in seeing this happen) . Both of you get to continue your debates in person that you normally would continue here anyway. The two of you would know all the issues about the other person up front, so there probably wouldn't be many more additional surprises. Finally, when both of you run out of steam, you might end up actually enjoying this ackward arrangement setup by the Piggington community and perhaps even start to have a normal conversation. The Piggington community would continue to get great entertainment value as we see the two of you debate and everything that happens that evening as we wait for RE to bottom. I would benefit, because I would get validation on my social experiment. It's win win win for everyone.
Dave and Marion, I fully respect each of you, so please don't take this as me ridiculing either of you. I just think it would be interesting to see what happens if the two of you were to actually meet in real life.
What do you say?

April 17, 2008 at 10:30 AM #188981CardiffBaseballParticipantShe sounds kind of hot if you ask me. Maybe I am self-deprecating or a masochistic? Of course she might want to talk a lot and that rules me out.
