Yea I miss not having BBQ around here like we did in Texas. I lived in Houston 4-5 days a week for about a year when consulting. 10 months in Clear Lake and 2 months over by the Astrodome and some hospitals (not sure what nabe that was).
Anyway I was in San Antonio on biz back in April. Our software vendor through a big bash each night and there were iced cold Shiner Bocks as far as the eye can see. And of course free… I bought a whole bunch when I got back as I forgot I really liked that stuff. My bud who’s always trying to bring over Stella Artois, when I won a bet I made him pay up in Shiner Bock.
I was back in Cleveland last christmas and had Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Holy crap was that stuff good. About 11.00 or so for a 6-pack though. There I go changing the subject again.
Of course I don’t mind having 1-2 of those Michelob Ultra when I trying to keep the calories low. Allen would vomit at the mere whiff of that piss-water.
