When I first came to piggington about 15 months ago, I thought to myself, “wow, this powayseller gal has her data together”. However, after seeing the tone of her posts cascade into emotional rants and attacks, I lost faith in her ability to provide an objective analysis.
Her final posts on piggington and comments like these on the VOSD site (if its really her) are akin to crooked attorneys or investigators that wrongly prosecute innocent people. I know this is a horrendous apples/oranges comparison 🙂 But its the same type of mentality — letting your emotions dictate rather than the facts.
Personally, I think piggington is great because of the “everyone else bring data” philosophy. Also I prefer the objective opinions that people like sdrealtor, SD Realtor, etc. post here, because frankly, it keeps me “honest”. As much as I would like to see housing prices plummet to a level that would allow me to use my previous home’s equity to purchase another home outright, I think that people marching to this beat will most likely be in for a big letdown.
