What happens if you bought, meet someone else, settle down, and the house is not suited for your needs then? Housing is for long term so I suggest saving, renting, and picking up one for investing if you like RE that much. Other than that I wouldnt rush into anything especially after a divorce where you could make a move that you may regret later. Good luck.
