Well what’s done is done… I was rooting for you to get the new Miata, selfishly (meaning, not based on any financial analysis, but just because I think they are so cool and I want a pigg to buy one).
But while disappointed in that respect, I think you made the right choice in waiting for the fat pitch. You have a functional car(s) so you have the luxury of patience, might as well use that to your advantage.
For myself, my Miata just turned 14 years old and I have no plans to replace it in the foreseeable future. But man, the new model makes it tempting.
