They need to end the filibuster. It helps Republicans and hurts Democrats. A few Dems always vote with the Republican’s. In this congress, the Republicans are not giving any support whatsoever. This congress in completely partisan, where the goal is obstruction to any legislation. I am confident the filibuster rules will change at the start of the next congress.
And the HCR bill did pass that Senate with 60 votes (all Dems did vote for it before Scott Brown won). Reconciliation is only being used for the process of reconciling the House and Senate versions. The mainstream media seems to like avoiding that detail.
