There is still a long way until the bottom. If you buy now and want to move in the next couple of years you will take a loss. What is rent like up there. I known everybody is trying to sell. The prices will continue to fall as long as foreclosures stay high. Look at http://www.foreclosureforum.com/stats.html to get an idea of what is happening. There were 1400 sales last month, 700+ foreclosures, and 2000+ NODs in San Diego. Prices have a long ways to go down. NODs will start going way down at the bottom of the market.
