The idea of multi-generational household living doesn’t bother me…I think it is potentially great. I just don’t wouldn’t want it to be an unnecessary quality of life issue for my kids. I have visited friends in countries where it has been very common for a long time. Many immigrants here can tell you all about how their families at home live. We have a terribly judgmental attitude about it. That is going to be a hard transition for some people to make. Making it one of many acceptable paths for consideration is healthy at this point…compared to hating the idea and fighting it.
