But on the other hand, there have always been a lot of hypes about Temecula
Unfortunately for me, I bought into the hype. I thought Temecula was an “up and coming” city in many ways. One thing I will say is that the Temecula City Council and gov’t have been very good at marketing Temecula.
But that’s all it really is IMO, marketing.
Most people who move to Temecula do so on a compromise, not because they really really want to live in Temecula.
Temecula:
Limited educational opportunities
Limited Medical Facilities (or none depending…)
Lots of traffic
Very few good paying jobs
Long commutes for most
Tract home hell
No personality
Gang activity up IMO
I don’t think Temecula will age very well at all. Temecula is no future Rancho Bernardo….
Let me ask:
If you don’t like living there, why not leave?
Short selling, walking away, or renting out are all relatively feasible alternatives.
This is a conversation that I have like once a week with people who ask about their options.
I know you have a serious dislike of Realtors but you don’t have to work with a Realtor.
Just something to consider.
