One of my son’s best friends moved to Oceanside and it seems every other week or at least once every three weeks, we have to make the trek. I am surprised being somewhat new to this area how long it takes to get to his house, and I am curious if his place is in this area that is loosely considered back gate. To get there I take 76 (a long way it seems) to Douglas Dr. and I believe it’s the last street before Douglas hits the golf course and bends around the corner. The kids apparently don’t like the school and don’t feel safe (one in elementary, one in Jr. High) so the family is thinking of moving back to Encinitas when the lease runs out. I am just looking forward to not making the drive. I think the street name is Point Degada. Or is the sketchy area further up Douglas?
