Madison, WI, eh? And you’ve been there 1 week? Yeah it’s pretty easy to be enamored with a place if you’ve only ever visited and have lived there 1 week. Check back with us in February when it’s too cold to go outside and you are couped up in your house for a few months. Or, check back in August after you’ve spent some time outdoors and are soaked by the humidity and covered with mosquito bites.
On the plus side, I prefer college towns to most any other type of urban environment. If I had to live in fly-over country, I would definitely try to pick a college town.
