I would have to disagree. I would say that it will be seen as a good win for corporatocracy, particularly the insurance industry. If you look anywhere, they have their fingers in it, taking their slice. The amount they take may even be greater than the average per person tax rate. Insurance companies get their float as a non-interest bearing loan from their clients. A form of other peoples money – cheap. It does nothing to reduce the true cost, nor does it reduce the huge overcharging hospitals do. It just ‘entrenches’ it, making it harder to change later.
