and 2nd one – smaller, but a nice big yard. The neighborhood till we got close there was not quite as nice as the 1st one, but still decent; but as we got close to the canyon, it started to improve. This 2nd one is more in our price range and size.
So I liked in general the Mt. streets south of Balboa. Then we visited the Mt. streets north of Balboa…at least where we went – Lindsay Ave., Mt. Henry, Huckee, that I remember, the neighborhood was much more spotty to me. I just didn’t like it as much as I did the one near those open houses above. the houses and yards themselves were not as nice looking. Too many cars in the streets (if they are residents, why not park in the garage? or at least the driveway), too many boats and RVs. Perhaps there were some events going on; we will go see the neighborhood again at some other time – this was just a first impression. Some yards and houses seemed neglected though.
I would not exclude CLMT (92117, 92111), but I really have to go see any house I’d be interested, the neighborhoods change enough in the space of a couple blocks. It sort of reminded me of older PQ. Anyway, I saw only a very small portion of CLMT, and in a holiday weekend no less. Need to see more.
