I for one, —as a right-winger— think there are too many religious right types that drive people away from Christ. Now it’s one thing for JG to stick up for Christianity, when it gets bashed here non-stop.
The problem is liberals define compassion by taking from one and giving to another. I am hardly a social conservative, though I am not a big fan of abortion, I tend to listen to heavy-metal, drink, etc. However what drives me away from the left are things like affirmative action, wanting higher taxes, amnesty for illegals, and telling everyone what kind of car they ought to drive. Talk about religious freaks… What about the A-holes that want to ban the SUV?
They don’t want the govt. in my bedroom but by god, my garage and my toilet is fair game.
