hmmm…less than two weeks after the first human infection was detected on April 15, 2009, the
1. cdc began working on a vaccine on april 21
2. cdc activated emergency op center on april 22
3. cdc releasing antiviral drug to battle new virus april 26
4. fda approved new cdc test on april 28

Perhaps the difference in the press response has a lot to do with how the gov’t/CDC responded to the situations?
