Holy fvcking shit…. Sounds like pets are a major pain in the ass.
A more profound and accurate statement has seldom been posted here at Piggs.
That being said……No shit, Sherlock.

I’m a peri-menopausal woman in my 50s. You venture a guess. The occasional uberwhinerbitch tone in my posts give it away.

Serious question…Is there any form of health insurance for pets like dogs/cats? I can’t imagine what surgery for a pet would look like in terms of $$$$..
I think that there may be a few companies offering policies. However, I don’t know how cost-effective it is. I think, as is the case for any of these newer policy types (the afore-mentioned pet health policies, nursing home insurance, extended care insurance), the risk pools are fairly small and tend to be made up of policyholders who are either predisposed toward illness, or have a history of serious illness/medical conditions. So if you come across a policy, I’d check the fine print very carefully, especially the pre-X condition language, and take a close look at the company’s reputation and history of claims reimbursement.
