We disallow public employee unions again (brown in the 60’s signed that change right?). If there is no public union, many of of these problems go away. People are paid and fired according to the laws of supply and demand. Is there any state in the country that does not allow public unions? (I am not being rhetorical)
Furthermore, politicians do not get the generous campaign contributions from tax payers via forced contributions of public employee unions.
We have the public unions bribing the politicians with the public’s money…and the politicians couldn’t be happier about it. We can not have meaningful reform until this obvious conflict of interest is removed.
