Don’t know what the finances are like for you guys, but one year we went to Disneyland and stayed at the hotel. There is no alcohol on the park, so don’t have to deal w/drunk idiots. It wasn’t crowded. Got to see fireworks. The next day, woke up and drove home. Great idea if you have kids, too. It’s a nice way to end the year and not be in a bar. But it’s not the cheapest idea.
