I don’t understand ‘brought the solid door’.. I know someone who has a GoPro mounted to the underside of an aircraft and has flown in in Florida (up to about 8,000 ft altitude) with no fogging. There is a significant temperature change w/ the altitude as well as humidity. The GoPro is in an enclosure.. I think he runs it in an underwater enclosure.. it is mounted on the outside of the Aircraft (underneath, behind the nosewheel). He also uses an under tail mount, including on an OV-1 he owns.
NOTE: It wasn’t the dive enclosure.. he is using the standard waterproof housing.
