What a great system. Just retire, collect your pension and healthcare benefits, and then get rehired for as much as 6 months annually at the daily equivalent of your prior salary plus benefits.
You’d be surprised how many annuitants exist on the State’s payroll. It’s funny how much post-retirement “special expertise” is required at the higher levels of state agencies.
