There are some (very) small towns and both Maui and the big Island have some serious mountains (snow ski year round)

And you can pick your climate, just go up or down the mountain.

Could be nice I guess.

the other Islands are kind of hot and humid in the interior most of the time, then you will also need some serious bug begone as well.
