Not to be overly pedantic, but a few of the elementary schools in Carmel Valley are actually part of the Solana Beach Union School District. Solana Highlands, Solana Pacific, Carmel Creek, and the future Solana Ranch School (in Pacific Highlands Ranch) are part of that district.
