Prop 30 will increase your tax if you make $250K or more or if you and your spouse rake in a combine $500K or more. Most engineers probably don’t have to lose sleep over the passing of this prop.

BTW., prop 30 increases income taxes for 7 years and sales tax for 4.

One interesting thing is that prop 30’s income tax portion hit roughly about 400,000 people in CA. That’s about 1% of the total population of about 37 million people.
