It is Doris Duke’s estate – she had an interest in Islamic art – the architecture – furnishings – art are all influenced by her travels and study of Islamic art – plus you learn about her and her travels/life. It located in a regular residential neighborhood so you need to make reservations and they only take out small groups at a time (two groups of about 12 if I remember correctly). I highly recommend it.
