Our house used to have a pool. My dad took it out after the last of the free pool cleaning labor went to college, 30+ years ago.
He had a permit and did it as described by AN.
Unfortunately, the tax rolls must still show us with a pool – because we constantly get mailings on pool services and supplies. LOL.
