You’re thinking it the wrong way. In effect you’re giving the government the right to increase/keep taxation as any level it wishes in order to sustain its spending.
Instead, what’s wrong with looking at the revevue and planning the spending accordingly, just like any individule/family does? Clearly, and clearly government spending has been OUT OF CONTROL!
