Investor: Okay, I’ve been watching this back and forth with you and Dave (the “real” Dave and not Dave from Fallbrook, whom I’m presuming is one of my long-lost cousins we don’t talk about in the family anymore), and I have to call BS on you.

I work with several PhDs (engineering and physics) and they are all excellent communicators, especially in written form. For you to assert that you hold not one, but two, PhDs and then use “alot” is simply laughable. I’d go into the other grammatical and syntaxical errors, but I don’t have the time.

The other thing I would point out is that one of the intangibles of advanced education, especially doctoral work, is that it should confer a sense of open-mindedness, along with a sense of fair play and respect for the “rules” (empiricism). When confronted with facts that dispute your worldview, you fall back on either ad hominem attacks or these solipsistic gyrations that inevitably lead to ad hominem attacks (such as questioning the disputant’s character, pedigree, etc).

My bad. It was you, Allen from Fallbrook, not dave. I guess that makes me a bad person. Yes, you do like to look for typos and extrapolate them into character flaws. That is one of your slimy ways of debating. That erodes you credibility, not mine. As far as open-mindedness, you seem to be defending your accounting ideas(non-CPA I might add) rather than addressing griffin’s book point to point other than saying “he is wrong” because I have said so. You do not know my world view because you have assumed that you know it. Another way that you jump to conclusions, mudding up the discussions in your favor. All I was trying to do was get some people’s opinion on what griffin is saying. I did not write the book but you degraded the earlier discussion into an attack on me. Something that you do in order to silence your opponent. As I said, the earlier investor that you were so rude to left the site, blowing an opportunity to learn from someone who knows a lot more than you do about how money works in the investing world. you also like to say that you were around seal members and other impressive people. That makes you look weak. Don’t reference your friend a seal member unless you are one two. don’t try and boost yourself off of other people’s accomplishments.
