Thanks njtosd. My question is not what are the risks to the selling agent? My question is: what are the risks to the buyer if they don’t use an agent?
People keep saying it is “risky” and a “cost of the transaction,” but what specifically is a buyer gaining if they give up the 2% they could have negotiated and use a buyer’s agent?
I am assuming I can look at the comps. I can read a home inspection report. I can write the offer.
Someone please tell me of an example of where they would have lost $ if they didn’t have a buyer’s agent.
