Well, I must have “doormat” written on my forehead because some of these people have come whining to me when they wanted to know what to do about harassing calls and letters and their credit becomes pockmarked from their failure to continue making payments on their HELOC’s (AND unsecured CC’s/loans, as well).
When I suggest things like, “Why don’t you sell your boat to satisfy this lender and get them off your back?” they look at me like I’m some kind of a killjoy . . . like I’VE lost it . . . LOL, I give up :={
