Unless your garage crack has a 1/2″ or more crevice and one side of the crack is higher than the other (causing a person to trip over it), I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Especially if it is front to back and/or the garage is NOT the same level as your house or NOT attached to your house. Hairline cracks are common in certain parts of SD County.
